For so long, I was resentful toward Christians because I went nearly my entire life without hearing the truth of the Gospel, without someone sharing the Good News of Jesus with me. Now I use that experience to make sure that I’m the believer who takes every opportunity I can to share Jesus with those in front of me—whether that’s a telemarketer, a homeless person, a hotel clerk, or a mom at the grocery store. So many have yet to hear the Good News, and I want to be sure no one escapes my presence without encountering His. I didn’t get saved until I was 29 years old in what I call a “Carny to Christ conversion.” I was a carny, traveling the country with my husband, Al, and living my life aimlessly. My husband was the epitome of a nomad, and by default, I was, too. Life wasn’t all bad.
