Epilepsy Changed Her Life
My life changed dramatically five years ago. I woke up in the middle of the night to a room filled with emergency medical personnel. My husband lovingly told me that I had a seizure and we were going to the hospital. After being admitted, doctors determined I had experienced a grand mal seizure, or what is medically known as a tonic-clonic seizure. Over the next few months, I had some recurring impaired awareness seizures, and I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I was the mom of a six-month old baby and worked full time in a career that I loved. Now because of the seizures, I couldn’t drive. I needed to step away from my job so the medical personnel could determine the best course of action for me. I felt alone and wondered how I would navigate all this. The fear of having another seizure was always on my mind....

Safe Water Africa
Access to safe, clean drinking water is one of the world’s most serious humanitarian problems. Worldwide, unsafe water and lack of sanitation kill over 30,000 people each month, with children affected the most. Safe water can transform an entire community suffering from waterborne sickness and disease to a much healthier one where people can focus on education, opportunity and faith. Several of us took a mission trip to Tanzania and saw first-hand the critical need for safe clean water. As a result, we launched a nonprofit called Safe Water Africa eight years ago to address this need. Our basic mission is to empower and assist local pastors to preach the Gospel in rural areas of Tanzania. We do this by providing the local pastor and church with a safe water facility (storage tanks and chlorinator) on church grounds. We place these water systems in rural areas of Tanzania where the clean water needs are so great, and poverty is rampant. The system provides safe, purified water for the church and villagers in the surrounding area. When people from these nearby villages come to the church to get clean water, a relationship with the pastor is started. Eventually, the pastor can share the Living Water and the Gospel with these villagers...

Please Tell Just One Person About The Christian Heart
The Christian Heart ministry tells true stories of everyday people showing their love for Jesus; how they live out their Christian faith. We want these stories to be seen by as many people as possible. We truly feel these stories can provide inspiration and encouragement to just about anyone that sees them. But Facebook, Instagram and Twitter do not necessarily love Christian sites. A lot of times messages from any Christian site are not shown to very many of their followers. In fact, our stories are only displayed to about 10% of our followers. We would like to ask for your help in growing our ministry in a grass-roots way. Would you please help us by: * Following and liking our stories on your social media platforms * Sharing these stories with your followers. On Facebook, you could share the story with your followers. On Instagram, you could add our post as your Instagram story. On Twitter, you could retweet it. * Tell your friends about The Christian Heart ministry.
Our ministry’s mission is to encourage Christians to have a stronger walk with The Lord and put their faith into action; and to show everyone what happens when The Lord enters your life. You can certainly help us do this. We truly thank you for helping us spread the word about The Christian Heart.
