Roots For Boots

God led me to walk away from a 17- year career in education as both a classroom teacher and school principal in order to bring to fruition Roots for Boots, a grassroots organization that aims to meet the needs and challenges of military heroes and their families.

God is the CEO of the non-profit. I’m the Chief Enthusiasm Officer.

I have always had a passion for serving and helping others. When I reflect on my life, I can clearly see how God was preparing me for this opportunity as well as see His hands move through all we do with Roots for Boots. Where I may not have seen a way, He provided a way. No challenge was too big.

The journey began when I was working on my Masters in Elementary Education. I had the opportunity to secure a teaching job in a small parochial school that my children attended...

We have taken all 300 of our stories and put them in certain categories, and then displayed an index of our 21 categories. So if you are interested in adoption or fostering, you can click that category and see all of our 19 stories on adoption and fostering on one page.   

In addition, we have made it easier for you to submit a story idea to us. Do you know somebody who is displaying their love for Jesus in their day-to-day life? Please tell us about your friends or family members!

The Christian Heart ministry tells true stories of everyday people showing their love for Jesus; how they live out their Christian faith.

We want these stories to be seen by as many people as possible. We truly feel these stories can provide inspiration and encouragement to just about anyone that sees them. But Facebook, Instagram and Twitter do not necessarily love Christian sites. A lot of times messages from any Christian site are not shown to very many of their followers. In fact, our stories are only displayed to about 10% of our followers.
